Account for people
Home check-ins
BuiltCaptains mark each home in their zone OK, Needs help or No answer. The map shows each zone’s status.
Status board
BuiltCounts by color for each group, with the time of the oldest report, so you can see who to check on.
The radio net
BuiltA roster of groups to call, with Check in and Help, running totals and a read-back of each count.
Practice drills
BuiltRun a drill like the real thing. It is marked Practice on every screen and kept apart from real events.
Keep word moving
PACE plans
BuiltEach group’s backup plan: what to try first, next, then last, and when to listen. Muster warns when two steps depend on the same thing, like one repeater.
Paths that have worked
BuiltEach check-in can record how it got through. Muster rates each radio path from that history, in each direction.
Reach a group
BuiltThe steps to reach any group from yours, in order, with what has worked before.
Net control
BuiltName net control and backups, hand over with a log, assign relays, and get a reminder to give your call sign. The log prints as an ICS-309.
Messages
BuiltWrite ICS-213 messages with a priority, seen only by the people they concern.
Plan your channels
Channel map
BuiltA map of your area with each group’s main and backup channels. It works offline once saved.
Overlap checks
BuiltMuster flags when nearby groups share a main channel, so you can fix it before it matters.
Zones
BuiltDraw zones on the map and give each one a captain.
Phone tree
BuiltBuilt from people’s roles, from leaders down to captains and homes.
Alerts
BuiltWeather and earthquake alerts for your area, from the National Weather Service and USGS.
Equipment
Equipment and readiness
BuiltList each group’s gear. Muster shows what is due for a check, expired or not working.
Radio details
BuiltSee which stations can relay, and which radios need new programming after the plan changes.
Home equipment and skills
BuiltHomes and people note their gear, food and skills, such as CPR or a radio license. A home’s captain sees its list. Others see details only when they are shared, and leaders see totals.
Offline and print
Net control offline
BuiltWith no connection, net control keeps logging. Muster sends it all once the connection is back.
Offline copy
BuiltDownload one file with the map, the plan and the channel chart, and no contact details. Signing out erases what was saved.
Cards and forms
BuiltWallet and fridge cards, a PACE card for each group, the net script, and blank ICS-213 and ICS-309 forms, ready to print.
Internet-down alert
BuiltYour device can tell you when the internet drops, so you know to switch to your backup plan.
Set up and sign in
Codes, not passwords
BuiltPeople sign in with a code sent by email. Their role decides what they can see and change.
Join links and QR codes
BuiltShare a link or QR code to invite people. A leader approves each request to join.
Partners
BuiltLink with a nearby city or group, and choose what each side shares.
English and Spanish
BuiltEach person picks their language, and Muster remembers it.
Planned
These are on our list. They are not built yet.
Device PIN
PlannedA PIN on each device, so leaders can keep the list of homes offline safely.
Coverage hints and repeaters
PlannedA hint of where radios may reach, always marked untested, and a list of repeaters with their backup power.
More ICS forms and sharing
PlannedICS-205 and ICS-214 forms, and sharing plans with partner groups.
Operators and training
PlannedA roster of radio operators with a call-sign check, and a record of training and nets.
